pablo y pablo
Pablo y Pablo is a spirited neighborhood Mexican restaurant and agave bar that has grown to three locations. We layered steel, salvaged wood, terracotta tile, industrial and cardboard lighting along with hand dyed cyanotype art to create a unique beachy, natural, and fun environment for guests.
Based on the strong brand story, design, and success of the first location, we flipped two other restaurants into additional Pablo y Pablo locations. Both involved converting previously occupied restaurant spaces into a fresh and vibrant gathering place.

We sourced this handmade terra cotta tile to create the perfect backdrop. With our rolodex of builders, makers, and contractors there are endless solutions at our fingertips.

We created a unique large scale installation made from canvas, cyanotype and an eclectic chair collection (thanks goodwill!). Visible from the street, the moody mural catches the attention of passersby. The title, and everything burns blue, is borrowed from a poem written by Pablo Neruda and the deep indigo colors pull from Pablo Picasso's 'blue period'.
